Excessive levels of noise coming from sources outside our dwellings are a serious breach of the right to privacy and the inviolability of the home, two things that are the object of special protection under the Spanish Constitution, which includes them under the heading of fundamental rights.
The obligation to preserve them and adopt any necessary measures to protect our privacy in the home comes down in the end to the administration and it is therefore through administrative law that we may demand our right not to suffer aggression in our own homes from noise coming from outside.
